Frozen Milk
There is no set expiration date for frozen breast milk in bags or in vials.
Acoording to World Health Organization guidelines that recommends: recommended freezing period – up to 6 months, but the ideal is to consume within 1 month, so that all nutrients can be maintained in milk and for it to meet the nutritional requirements of the child.
Defrosting: should be carried out in the refrigerator (2-8ºC), until full liquid consistency is obtained, then it can be removed and heated.
